Gladius, Beast of Night - Boss Overview
Location:
Gladius, Beast of Night, is a Nightlord boss encountered on Day 3 of Elden Ring Items the Tricephalos expedition in Elden Ring Nightreign. He is the final Nightlord of this expedition, making him one of the toughest bosses you’ll face in this part of the game. To reach him, you must first defeat the Day 2 Night Boss and enter the Spirit Shelter, where you can rest, level up, and prepare before facing Gladius.

Gladius - General Description:
Gladius is a three-headed wolf who shares some similarities with the Red Wolf of Radagon, though he is far more dangerous. He wields a giant sword whip and has the ability to breathe fire, creating a formidable combination of close and ranged attacks. Gladius is not just a simple beast—he has the unique ability to split into three wolves during the fight, each with its own attacks, making him even more challenging.

Appearance:
Gladius has three heads, and his body is a mix of wolf-like features and fiery, corrupted energy. He carries a giant sword whip, and his fiery breath can be deadly. His appearance is marked by both his size and speed, making him a dynamic and dangerous foe.

Key Characteristics and Abilities:
Sword Whip:

Gladius uses a giant sword whip, which can strike from long distances, making it a versatile weapon. His whip can also be used in close combat for devastating slashes.

Fire-Breathing Attacks:

Gladius can breathe fire, hitting a wide area in front of him. His fire breath is a primary ranged attack, which is difficult to avoid if you're not quick.

Three-Headed Bite Attacks:

The three heads of Gladius can bite at opponents in Elden Ring Runes different patterns. He will perform quick multi-bite lunges and slower, more deliberate bites depending on the situation. These attacks are especially dangerous when he’s in close range, and they often require precise dodging or blocking.
